This was Metallica's third performance at Madison Square Garden. The first two were on May 10 and 11, 1997. The last time Metallica performed in New York City was on November 11, 1998 at the Roseland Ballroom.
This was one of four shows at which Metallica played with a symphony orchestra. The other three were November 19, 1999 in Berlin, and April 21 and 22, 1999 in Berkeley, California. |

This DVD was re-authored by me. The soundboard audio for this DVD was re-synchronized by me.
The audio upgrade makes this show much nicer in my opinion. Not only is the audio quality better, but it's in sync with the video throughout the entire show. |
