SHOW NOTES
|
This was the sixth time that Metallica have played in Donington at this festival, the first being August 17, 1985 and the last being June 1, 2003.
Other bands on the bill included Cradle of Filth, Damageplan, Drowning Pool, Hatebreed, Hoobastank, Korn, Linkin Park, Machine Head, Monster Magnet, Opeth, Slayer, Slipknot, Statix-X, and Sum 41.
Lars was absent from this show so Flemming Larsen (Lars' drum tech), Dave Lombardo (from Slayer), and Joey Jordison (from Slipknot) filled in for him. This was the first show Lars has missed in 23 years. |
MOOF'S COMMENTS
|
This angle is probably the best of the 3 simply because it's the most complete! Unfortunately there's no LiveMetallica.com audio, but the audio from the camera sounds pretty good.
This video is partially screen-shot. |
