Rules for Contacting Me
- Nothing here is for sale, so don't bother asking.
- I may be able to offer small B&P trades if my time permits. If you are unfamiliar with B&P trades, please start by reading here.
- If you contact me about a possible trade, don't forget to include your trading list. If you don't include your list, I will probably ignore your e-mail.
- If you initiate the trade, you send first. No exceptions.
Rules for Burning Discs
- Use quality media. I usually use Verbatim, TDK, FujiFilm or Memorex. I trust your judgement as long as it's not a no-name brand.
- Always use the verification option when burning. This will prevent discs with bad sectors.
- Please don't write on the discs. Instead, label them with a Post-It note or a small piece of paper.
Rules for Mailing
Rules for Audio Trading
- I am only interested in lossless formats such as FLAC or SHN. I am not interested in lossy formats such as MP3.
- For small audio trades, I prefer to trade online. I have a private FTP for this purpose or we can agree to share our shows on a BitTorrent tracker.
- For large audio trades, I prefer to burn the FLAC/SHN files to data DVD and send through the mail.
- Any show marked with a YTSEJAMxxx catalog number will not be traded as it is an official release of Ytsejam Records.
- Any show marked with a GDT-Rxx catalog number will only be traded through the mail. In accordance with the rules of Grateful Dreams, online trading is not permitted for their releases.
Rules for Video Trading
- I will only trade video discs for other discs of the same size. For example, I will only trade a BD25 for a BD25.
- In accordance with the above, do note that BD5 can be traded for DVD±R, and BD9 can be traded for DVD±R DL. If you are unfamiliar with BD5 and BD9, please start by reading here.
