When Jerry Springer Ruled The World recounts the story of television's most outrageous show ... a cultural phenomenon that changed the face of daytime TV and made Jerry Springer an international icon. Using first person accounts, our show will capture the moment in history when Jerry went from talk show host to global star. It was a time when daytime talk shows themselves were in decline, and wanna-be hosts came and went like reality shows do today. But by the end of 1997 everybody - critics, teenagers, grandmothers, even the President of the United States - was talking about Jerry.
